  • On-Site Project Coordinator – Overnight Field Project

    Job Overview

    We are seeking a dependable and responsible On-Site Project Coordinator to support overnight field projects at retail locations.

    The coordinator will work with store management, subcontractors, and project leadership to help keep nightly work organized, properly documented, and on schedule.

    Key Tasks & Responsibilities

    • Arrive on-site on time and remain through completion of the nightly shift.
    • Coordinate nightly activities between store management, subcontractors, and project leadership.
    • Ensure merchandise and work areas are properly protected before work begins.
    • Track work progress and important project activities.
    • Complete required project forms, reports, and documentation before leaving the site each morning.
    • Report delays, problems, or unusual site conditions.
    • Follow project safety and store procedures.

    Schedule

    Typical hours: 8:30 PM to approximately 6:00 AM

    Projects generally last 1–3 months, and preference will be given to individuals who can commit to completing an assigned project for its full duration.

    Travel

    Travel is required for some assignments. Projects are available in different cities, states, and regions based on client needs. Candidates should be willing to accept assignments outside their immediate home area when opportunities are available.

    • Overnight POS Installation Technician

      Payment Terminal / Retail Technology Upgrade Project

      Job Type: Contract Work | Overnight| Flexible Schedule | Travel Required
      Locations: National

      We are seeking dependable Field Service / POS Installation Technicians for a nationwide retail technology upgrade project beginning in September.

      Technicians will travel to assigned retail locations and replace existing payment terminals with new Verifone Victa Mobile payment devices. This is primarily overnight work performed after the store closes.

      Pay

      $40-$50/Hr depending on qualificaitons & experience.

      Schedule

      Project begins September 2026

      Monday through Thursday

      Overnight installations

      Flexible workdays — technicians may accept available assignments based on their schedule

      Most installations are expected to take approximately 2–4 hours

      Technician may need to arrive approximately 30 minutes before store closing

      job Responsibilities

      Technicians will be responsible for:

      • Checking in with the store manager and project support team upon arrival
      • Verifying site conditions before beginning the installation
      • Removing existing Verifone payment devices
      • Installing new Verifone Victa Mobile payment terminals
      • Removing and installing payment-device mounting hardware
      • Accessing cabling beneath/behind retail POS counters
      • Connecting Ethernet, USB-C and power cables
      • Installing and securing Ethernet dongles
      • Performing professional cable management
      • Connecting equipment to the proper UPS/power source
      • Powering on and assisting with configuration/pairing of the new payment terminals
      • Working with remote technical support to verify proper operation
      • Taking required before/after and installation photos
      • Packing removed equipment for return shipment
      • Cleaning the work area after installation
      • Completing project check-in and check-out procedures
      • Following store security, access and closing procedures

      Technicians must be comfortable working independently inside a retail location during overnight hours.

      Tools Required

      • Phillips-head screwdrivers
      • 3/32-inch Allen wrench
      • Allen/hex wrench set
      • Torx wrench/bit set
      • Small flat-blade screwdriver
      • Box cutter/utility knife
      • Scissors or electrician’s shears
      • Flashlight or headlamp
      • Basic hand tools
      • Smartphone with working camera and mobile data/hotspot capability
      • A laptop with wireless internet access is strongly recommended for communicating with support and transferring/uploading installation photographs.

      Technician Qualifications

      Ideal candidates have experience with one or more of the following:

      • POS installation
      • Computer or network hardware installation
      • Field service technician work
      • Telecom installation
      • cable technicians
      • AV technicians

      Previous POS experience is helpful, but technicians who have strong technical/mechanical skills and can carefully follow detailed installation instructions may also be considered.

        Job Overview

        We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented technicians to perform site surveys at retail stores. This is a perfect opportunity for those who enjoy travel, seeing new towns, and flexible scheduling while earning excellent pay. Technicians will capture store layouts, create 3D scans (camera provided), document site conditions, and ensure accurate data for project planning.

        Key Tasks & Responsibilities

        • Store Walkthroughs: Sales floor, stockroom, receiving areas, exterior spaces.
        • 3D Scans: Use provided camera to capture complete store layout accurately.
        • Documentation: Note special conditions, capture photos of panels, signage, and key areas.
        • Communication: Coordinate with store managers and Project Leads for check-in/check-out.
        • Uploads & Notes: Submit completed scans and notes promptly.
